Jaccarri Jackson is a tall, fast receiver from the Shreveport area.
Jaccari Jackson
, from Logansport, is a 6'3" wideout who chose Tech over Louisiana-Monroe and Central Arkansas. The tallest receiver in the class has a chance to start early in his career for
Louisiana Tech
.
Sharman Brown
. from Mansfield, TX, was the first wide receiver to commit to Louisiana Tech. Scout.com Regional Manager Baron Flenory Jr. says Tech got a steal in Brown. "Sharman is a natural pass catcher. He catches well with his hands and only lets the ball come into his chest when fighting off a defender going over the middle. What also makes him a special WR is the fact that he can locate and adjust to poorly thrown footballs. He can make a QB better than they actually are," said Flenory Jr.
D.J. St. Julien has helped make Acadiana one of the best 5A programs in Louisiana for the last four years. St. Julien is another long, fast playmaker that will make things easier on the quarterback. St. Julien still needs to improve his ACT score and he will take the test agin in February. St. Julien, Brown, and Jackson are all ridiculously fast and all are over 6'0".
Andre Taylor
, from Round Rock, TX will be a big target over the middle for the Bulldogs. The 6'5" tight end has a little speed as well.
Speaking of speed, athlete
Lyle Fitte
will see plenty of time in the slot at Tech. The explosive Port Sulphur native will turn heads in Ruston for a long time.
The only person happier in Ruston than the Tech quarterbacks may be Offensive Coordinator Frank Scelfo.
