Knighton, Taylor Hold Tech Offers

Louisiana Tech has 13 visitors in this weekend. One is a commit; all of the 12 others have offers.

Andre Taylor said he was offered after the season. “I have offers from Army and Tech,” said Taylor. “Tech offered a few weeks ago, but I have been talking to Coach Russell all year.” Taylor is a tight end from Round Rock, TX. “I’m up to 6’5” and 225 pounds,” added Taylor. “I played both tight end and defensive end this year.” Taylor said he will visit West Point in two weeks. He is the only tight end with a Tech offer. Christopher Knighton is a defensive end from Longview, TX. “Coach Perot told me I had an offer at the end of the season,” said Knighton. “I have offers from ULL and ULM. I’ve also visited UTEP.” Tech is battling UTEP for another East Texas defensive end. Germad Reed, who is also in town this weekend, said he is still planning to visit UTEP and Arkansas.
