The Hope Bobcats finished their 2008 season at 2-8.

Hope won two games in a row in October and looked ready to make a playoff run. The Bobcats beat Pulaski Robinson and Hot Springs Lakeside by a combined score of 65-28.

Senior running back LaBrandon Harris ran for over 350 yards and had 7 toucdowns in the two wins. Harris is one of the biggest sleepers in the state this year.

Hope finished the season with games against rivals Camden Fairview and Magnolia. Although they came up short, Hope has reason to look forward to next season.

The week before their two wins, Hope lost a heartbreaker to Hot Springs 21-13. Last Week, the Bobcats lost in a shootout to Pulaski Academy 56-42.

Junior linebacker O'Ryan Shepard returns next year for the Bobcats. Shepard is a 6-0 230 pound force in the middle of the Hope defense. Shepard led the team last night against Magnolia with 7.5 tackles and one sack. Shepard had 8 tackles against Pulaski Academy.
