Lyle Fitte told BleedTechBlue.com following the Idaho game that he was going to tell Coach Derek Dooley of Louisiana Tech that he wants to be a Bulldog.
During Lyle's Junior campaign he put up some crazy numbers. For the season he had 1,906 yards rushing and 24 TDs on 206 carries to go with 1,612 yards and 19 TDs on 75 receptions. There is obviously a reason why LA Tech coaches sent an offer Fitte's way.
After talking to Coach Dooley, Fitte talked about his commitment. "I'm excited," he said. "I can't wait to come into this program and do whatever I can to prove myself and continue on to greatness."
Louisiana Tech has been recruiting Fitte for a while, and the 5'8" running back said Tech has been at the top of his list for a long time. "I've been interested in Tech since they first contacted me," added Fitte, "and when they offered; I knew that was where I wanted to be."
