Shakiel Smith is Heavily Recruited

He can cover the best wide out and he will play the run strong like a safety." Shakiel hasn't narrowed down his list of favorites yet, but his list of offers is impressive. "He has offers on the table from Northern Illinois, ULM, ULL, UCONN, Tulane, USM, and South Alabama," said Coach Juluke. "Also, he has interest from LaTech, Kansas State, Houston, and Rice." Edna Karr has two of the top prospects in Louisiana. Smith's teammate, Cornelius Lucas, has offers from Louisiana Tech, Tulane, and ULL.
