During high school Randy Hardin (6'/185) played football at The Bolles School in Jacksonville, FL, where he led the team to a 14-0 record and to the 2A state title. During his senior season, Hardin passed for 3,257 yards with 32 touchdowns with three interceptions, while completing 69 percent of his passes. For his four years in high school he put up some impressive numbers, 7,463 yards for 76 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He finsihed in the Top 10 all-time in passing yardage and touchdown passes in the state Florida. Scout.com ranked him as the #61 QB in the country his senior year and gave him a 3-star rating.
Hardin seems to fit the mold of the kind of QB Louisiana Tech fans are used to seeing. Like Tim Rattay, Hardin is not the ideal size of a QB, but exhibits the ability needed to make all the throws needed on the football field.
