Kinne Visits Tech

G.J. Kinne, who announced recently that he would be transferring from the University of Texas, was in attendance Saturday at the Louisiana Tech spring game.

Kinne said the visit went well, but he probably won't make up his mind until the middle of May.

When asked about other schools he may be looking at, he had a short list. "I may take a trip out to Fresno and maybe to Arizona," Kinne offered. Kinne's father was recently named Head Coach at a high school in Fresno. Arizona's offenive coordinator is Sonny Dykes, who helped lead Texas Tech's offense under Mike Leach. The fourth coach on Kinne's short list is Tulsa.

Quin Harris hosted Kinne on his visit. "Louisiana Tech is the only official visit I have made," Kinne explained. "I was hosted by Quin Harris and I had a good visit. Quin was real cool and I could tell he is a nice guy."
