Baseball Looks to Regroup
Chris Kersten

The Bulldogs will start a two game series with Baylor on Tuesday, after falling to Arkansas, Ohio State, and Texas A&M in the Domino’s Pizza Classic. Baylor moved up to #11 in this week’s Baseball America poll, after placing 13th and 15th in previous weeks. The Bears took care of four teams last week, including a 20-6 beat down of Illinois.

Adam Cobb hit two home runs against the Aggies to take over the team lead with four and Chris Kersten improved his RBI total to 17 while being named to the all-tournament team.

Senior Alan Knotts and freshman Mike Lebreton are likely to get the start in Waco, with game time scheduled at 6:30 on Tuesday and 4:00 on Wednesday.

After the Baylor series, Louisiana Tech (6-3) will play their next eight games in Lincoln Parish, starting with a weekend series against Central Arkansas.
