    1. JOHN CURTIS CHRISTIAN (1) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Patriots defeated 4A Franklinton, 34-0. Gigantic offensive linemen Anthony Taylor and Jonathan Levens controlled the line of scrimmage for a plethora of Curtis ballcarriers. Junior Brandon Porter picked off a pass and returned it 60 yards. This week: vs. 5A Westgate (0-1) at Superdome

    2. CALVARY BAPTIST (3) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Cavaliers defeated 5A Natchitoches-Central, 34-18. Senior RB Brandon Wilson rushed for 125 yards and a pair of TDs. This week: vs. 5A No. 10 West Monroe (0-1) at Independence Stadium

    3. EVANGEL CHRISTIAN (2) -- (0-1) -- Last week, the Eagles lost to 6A Tulsa (Ok.) Union, 21-0. Junior LB X'Zavier Preston will have his sights set on stopping Lafayette (Ms.) QB Jeremy Liggins (LSU recruiting target) on Saturday. This week: vs. Lafayette (Ms.) (3-0) at Independence Stadium

    4. WEST ST. MARY (5) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Wolfpack defeated Franklin, 34-0. QB Trevell Dixon picked up 146 yards on the ground, including a 97-yard TD keeper. This week: at 3A Northwest (1-0)

    5. EPISCOPAL (6) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Knights defeated 3A Albany, 36-0. Senior RB Michael Henry gained 127 yards and scored twice. DE Tylor Harris is among the state's top uncommitted senior prospects. This week: at 1A Ascension Catholic (0-1)

    6. WINNFIELD (7) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Tigers defeated Jonesboro-Hodge, 48-0. Alonzo Moore (offers from Nebraska and Mississippi State) brought the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. This week: 3A No. 10 Marksville (1-0)

    7. UNIVERSITY LAB (NR) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Cubs defeated Newman, 27-6. Nicholas Brossette ran for a pair of TDs. This week: 1A Ascension Christian (0-1)

    8. HOLY SAVIOR MENARD (NR) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Eagles defeated 4A Bolton, 38-37. Logan Hilton kicked the game-winning field goal from 30 yards out. Daniel Koury had a pick-six and Mason Deville played well on each side of the ball. This week: Bunkie (0-1)

    9. ST. THOMAS AQUINAS (NR) -- (1-0) -- Last week, the Falcons defeated 4A Hammond, 20-12. STA's victory over cross-town rival Hammond stunned the Florida Parishes. Daryl Moore hit Kaylan Richardson on a 52-yard touchdown pass to clinch the monumental win. This week: No. 10 Loreauville (0-1)

    10. LOREAUVILLE (9) -- (0-1) -- Last week, the Tigers lost to 1A No. 1 Central Catholic, 15-12. Senior Nick Julien rushed for 180 yards and two TDs. Junior Jermaine Antoine added 45 yards on the ground. This week: at St. Thomas Aquinas (1-0)
