Northwest Mississippi Community College OL Donald Hawkins received his third offer today - from the Kentucky Wildcats. Read further to get the details.

"Kentucky's offensive line coach Mike Summers came through today and offered me in person at our campus," said Northwest Mississippi CC offensive lineman Donald Hawkins. "It happened around noon.

"I've been talking to him since March. He saw some film of me working out and was amazed. We sat down in an office and he personally made the offer. He said I'm the number one lineman on his board. We talked about a lot of things, such as their facilities. He said he'd take me in either May of December - it didn't matter to him - and I liked that. It showed how much he wanted me."

Hawkins has a good rapport with Coach Summers.

"I really like this coach," said Hawkins, when asked about his relationship with Summers. "He's a great coach and he played in the league. So if I went there and played under him, I think I would have a good chance of playing in the NFL one day."

Does Hawkins have a favorite yet?

My top three are Kentucky, Oklahoma State, and Mississippi State (all have offered), but I don't have a favorite among those three.

"I'm also hearing from Auburn's offensive line coach, as well as coaches from Tennessee and Georgia."
