"I was invited to the National Underclassmen All-World Gridiron Classic," said Lamar Louis, the junior RB/LB from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. "I had been speaking with (NUC Founder and CEO) David Schuman about it, and I think it sealed the deal when I committed to LSU."
Louis dominated the competition at the recent Baton Rouge NUC event, which was held at Zachary High School. For his efforts, the 6-0, 210-pounder was named Combine King.
Tomorrow, Louis will make the short trip east on I-10 to Baton Rouge, where he'll watch his future teammates at LSU.
"I'm going with my parents to the LSU spring game," said Louis. "Travin (Dural) is also going with his parents. We're talking about helping recruit some other juniors. Davante' Bourque (Crowley HS), if anybody, is number one on our list."
